Certified Scrum Master
“Good Overview Of Scrum Principles”
Gained good overview of Scrum principles and refreshed project management concepts too as a freebee.
“Training Is Phenomenal”
The training is phenomenal and more interesting. Understood the agile concepts very well.
“Very Clear, Strong Orientation To Agile”
Very clear, articulate, strong, orientation to agile. Made me change some old principles that I was stuck with. Dan is a great trainer/inspirational and I loved the two days and I realize how I need to change.
“I Felt Confident After Q-A Session”
In the beginning, I was confused by Scrum roles that were not clearly defined. They were later defined and then I understood, but it would be better if they were defined up-front. I liked the Q-A session at the 2nd day in the morning, but many questions were because of confusion over product owner and scrum master. After the Q-A session, I felt a lot more confident.
“Used Lots Of Real Time Examples”
Used lots of real time examples and conveyed the concept. The activities were interesting.
“Addressed My Specific Questions/Concerns”
I loved that Dan allowed us to veer off track to address some of my specific questions/concerns.
“Terminology Was Consistent”
I liked that there was an assumption that I knew agile principles and that terminology was consistent. The exercises were generally helpful and it broke up lecture at a good pace. I think a mention at the beginning of "we aren't here to solve your company's problems, but we'll equip you with tools" would help eliminate some tangent stories/questions.
“Class Was Very Good & Interactive”
The class was very good and interactive.
“Training Was An Eye Opener”
The training was an eye opener to the team dynamics. It was great to learn that the agile is a pathway. The group activity is awesome and gives hands on training.
