“Answered Our Questions”
Very informative course. I am new to scrum so this course gave me very useful knowledge that I can take back to my team at work.
Dan gave practical examples and provided realistic scenarios to help us related to the theoretical topics that we covered.
He answered our questions clearly.
“Easy To Follow”
Very helpful with lots of real world examples and an easy to follow guide.
“Tons of Experience”
Dan has tons of experience, and is good at delivering the material using graspable analogies.
Pace was good.
“Food For Thought”
A paradoxical course. Both invaluable and marginally useful. One might argue all courses are like this, but this course more than most. Class-driven discussion was very productive to a point. Most of the good stuff was in the discussion, but also derailed things so that there was less time for the interesting stuff at the end. At the end, it offers food for thought and some useful tools, so mission accomplished. In any case, it was great to take advantage of Dan's wealth of experience.
“Good Focus On Product Owner”
-Good focus on Product Owner and specific tasks of a P.O.
-Instructor has great understanding of scrum
-Good examples to make sense of content
“Dan Was Always Prepared”
The course was good, I found myself asking myself (team) introspective questions on scrum. The roles/responsibilities were clarified nicely, and Dan provided great examples and analogies. Dan was always prepared to answer questions from people of varying scrum experience levels.
“Great Nuggets of Information”
Lots of great nuggets of information. One challenge was understanding the fundamental responsibilities of the Product Owner, and how to be a successful Product Owner. There was a lot of info covered that crossed over to multiple roles (e.g. Project Management, Scrum Team, etc.) which made the Product Owner role unclear at times during the course.
“Good Ideas”
It started a bit slow on the first morning.
I liked the examples of different types of stories and backbones.
I liked the diagrams of scaling Agile to larger organizations.
We've been doing Scrum for a while, but there were some good ideas here to try.
“Good Course”
Good course. Should have been longer of have some prerequisite courses/readings. Seemed a bit rushed.
