Course Covered A Wide Variety
The course covered a wide-variety of topics - some in more depth than others. Dan is clearly extremely knowledgeable and competent and he mastered (written) much of the course material. I think the class could be improved with a better balance of "lecture", skill-building, and addressing class specific needs. Reduce time spend on early class exercises (day 1 am example not very useful)
Suggested improvements:
Increase coverage of "pure" Product Owner topics. Perhaps gauge level of Scrum experience in class and adjust accordingly. Revisit WIIFU criteria to determine if class met expectations. Be aware/sensitive to condescending tone when answering questions. Students are here to learn, not be spoken down to. Replace sports analogies with alternate stories to reach a wider audience. Invite class members to share stories and balance number of personal/professional stories of your own.
