Content Was Great
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 21, 2016

Content was great, final review of "Scrum Project Exercise" would be good.

Suggested improvements:

Stronger focus on role descriptions and communication models as well as on tools and how they can be applied for Scrum.

Good Introduction
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 21, 2016

This was a good introduction into Scrum, and a fairly decent introduction into being a scrum master.

Suggested improvements:

Occasionally people ask questions and it is difficult to hear what the question was. Repeating it for the group before answering can be helpful. More time/focus on CSM role compared to Scrum generally could be good. (saying as someone who's never seen Scrum before this training)

Exceeded Expectations
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 21, 2016

Overall, an excellent class - met or exceeded expectations. The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging. The class discussions were valuable for learning about others' experiences with Scrum.

Suggested improvements:

Nothing in particular - maybe shortening the days and spreading the training across one more day.

Information And Enthusiasm Were Great
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 21, 2016

The information and enthusiasm were great! The only thing I would change is talking while someone is asking a question. It makes people not want to ask, and as the expert, you should want the students to get the clarification they need.

Suggested improvements:

The info and practice were great, but if we could do more exercises I think we could be better prepared for the test.

Gain Confidence
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 21, 2016

Great course for "informal" scrum masters to gain confidence with their skill set.

Suggested improvements:

Maybe do it [in] 1 day and faster pace

Better Understanding Of Scrum Now
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 21, 2016

I have a better understanding of scrum now. I enjoyed the activities as they provided a break from the lecturing. Sometimes I felt like instructions weren't totally clear, and we went off on many tangents due to questions.

Suggested improvements:

Taking some time to answer questions after class/during lunch/during breaks. Perhaps 1st scrum sprint activity could be something we already understand -- like instead of making something about scrum, it could be open and about anything. We spun our wheels a lot because we were still learning.

Excellent Presentation
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 21, 2016

Excellent presentation, very clear examples, we couldn't go through the entire material which I would love to do.

Suggested improvements:

Some real scenarios or practices, maybe to see how an actual sprint plan meeting goes or a retrospective.

Super Lucky To Have Dan!
By: Scrum Training Review

Review: September 14, 2016

Awesome class! I feel super lucky to have Dan! Kept my interest, had fun, learned a lot. Easy to ask questions. Thank you!

Suggested improvements:

Straight up definitions may have been helpful to refer to, when it comes to terms like user stories, sizing, etc. Would have liked to take the test while in class as well.
